MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Montgomery Memorial Library is to promote enlightened citizenship, enrich personal lives, and meet the informational, cultural, recreational, and educational needs of the community by providing, promoting, and supporting a wide variety of materials, services, and programs for community use.

Obtaining a Library Card is Simple!!

Simply come in and fill out a form.  We ask that you bring a photo id or another form of verification providing your current address with you.  You will receive your library card on the spot and you can check out materials the same day.

The library will put you on a probationary period for six months.  During this time, new patrons may check out two items at a time, and may not check out additional items until the first two items have been returned.

The probationary period can be waived at the new card holder request.  The library will make contact with a previous library the new patron used in the past to verify good standing when utilizing library services.
